All of these photographs result from my travels, but most from my annual soulful sojourns to Havana Cuba since 2009. From the moment I entered its endless state of timelessness, I was overwhelmed by the beauty and sense of stillness that I felt from the spectacular decay that surrounded me. Weathered and graffiti tagged walls became a ritualistic fixation – every wall, street and alley became an open gallery waiting to be discovered.
All images are ink jet printed on Hahnemuhle German etching photo rag – this beautiful archival paper has a textured, matte finish that lends an added layer to these images in particular. Of course because they are photographs, different sizes and prices are available.
